32 photos of High Wood, South East Cornwall
High Wood is a small woodland on the side of a valley looking down on the East Looe River near Liskeard. The woodland is owned by the charity "Protect Earth" who aim to restore ancient woodland throughout the UK. High Wood is open to the public and there are a number of trails through the woods. There are several entrances into High Wood, including a southern entrance by the A38 road. On the A38 travelling west from Liskeard turn off where signposted to Moorswater Industrial Estate. After exiting the A38 turn left again signposted to Moorswater, then take the next left to cross the bridge over the A38. Immediately after the bridge turn left and take the next right onto a lane and then follow a lane to some cottages where there is a track into High Wood. There are a few spaces for parking in the lane. This lane can also be reached on foot from New Road in Liskeard.
