Greenscoombe Wood is a small woodland centered around two small
valleys which slope down to the River Tamar near Luckett in South
East Cornwall. There are a number of trails through the woods
and old mine workings including Deer Park Mine. Luckett is near
Callington. From Callington take the A390 to Tavistock and
turn left where signposted to Kit Hill. Follow this road to
the cross roads at Monkscross and go straight across. Follow
this road for about a mile to Luckett. Park in the village
car park and walk along Greenscoombe Lane for about half a
mile to the entrance to the woods. Photos include photos of
Greenscoombe Wood, the river Tamar and Deer Park mine.
