Portreath is a small town on the North Cornwall coast with a small harbour and a nice sandy beach. There are shops and cafés by the beach. Portreath is about 12 miles from Truro on the A30. On the A30 turn off at Redruth onto the A3047, then at a mini roundabout turn onto the B3300 signposted to Portreath. Portreath is about 4 miles from Redruth.
