Paignton is a large seaside resort town facing east into Torbay in the English Riviera. There is a long sandy beach with promenade pier and a harbour. There are shops, cafés and amusements, including a cinema. There is also a nice green behind the beach. Paignton is 24 miles from Exeter on the A38 and A380.
