Padstow is a picturesque harbour town on the west banks of the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall. There are plenty of shops and cafe's. North of Padstow, there is good walking on the coast path to Stepper Point. At low tide the beach can also be walked from St Georges Cove to Hawkers Cove. There is great scenery. Padstow is about 8 miles from Wadebridge on the A39 and A389. There is a large car park above the town and also a car park by the harbour.
