Noss Mayo is a picturesque village in south Devon. There is
a pub and also fine walking along the banks of Newton Creek
and the river Yealm. Noss Mayo is about 10 miles from Plymouth.
Take the A379 out of Plymouth and turn onto the B3186 at
Yealmpton. Follow this road to Newton Ferrers and drive
through Newton Ferrers to Bridgend and follow the sign to
to Noss Mayo. There is a small car park in the creek though
note this will be underwater at high tide. Photos include
