Fowey is a picturesque town looking out onto the Fowey estuary in South East Cornwall. Fowey is well worth a visit for great scenery and there are plenty of gift shops and cafés. There are boat trips including a ferry to Polruan. There is also a small sandy beach at Readymoney Beach. Fowey is 38 miles from Plymouth. Take the A38 into Cornwall and at Dobwalls take the A390. After Lostwithiel turn left to Fowey onto the B3269. There are several car parks at Fowey.
