The Tamar Bridge and Royal Albert Bridge span the river Tamar between Plymouth in Devon and Saltash in Cornwall. The Tamar Bridge is a road bridge that was built in 1961. There is also a lane for pedesterians and cyclists. The Royal Albert Bridge is a railway bridge which was completed in 1859 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. There are fine views across the river Tamar and there is a parking and a picnic area on the Devon side. There is also parking by the Saltash waterfront.
