Meeth Quarry is a former clay quarry in Devon, north of Okehampton. The quarry was purchased by the Devon Wildlife Trust and transformed into a nature reserve with the clay quarries filling with water to form small lakes to attract birds and dragonflies. There are also multi use trails (for walking and cycling) and a bird hide. Meeth Quarry is near the village of Meeth which is about 10 miles north of Okehampton. Okehampton can be reached on the A30. From Okehampton take the A386 north. On the A386 at Hatherleigh go across the roundabout to continue on the A386 north (signposted to Bideford and Torrington). Continue on the A386 for about 3 miles. Arriving at Meeth there are some houses on the left and just after the houses a left turning onto a lane signposted to Meeth Quarry. Continue on this lane for about a mile for the Meeth Quarry car park.
