Ideford Common is an open access heathland near Newton Abbot in South Devon. There are some nice paths and trails across the common and there is a small car park. Ideford Common is about 8 miles from Newton Abbot on the A380, alternatively take the A38 and A380 from Exeter. On the A380 turn off at Ashcombe Cross where signposted to Ashcombe and Teignmouth. At Ashcombe Cross take the B3192 to Teignmouth. On the B3192 take the first right and follow this lane to the Ideford Common car park.
