Helman Tor is a large hill with rocky tor in central Cornwall near Lostwithiel. There is a small car park close to the tor and fine views from the summit. Helman Tor can be difficult to find. On the A390 between Lostwithiel there are several turnings to the village of Lanlivery. At Lanlivery, turn left opposite the church and school (signposted to Luxulyan). Follow this road for several miles, continue on this road past Gunwen Methodist Church, then about a mile past the church turn right onto a narrow lane which is not signposted. Follow this lane to the Helman Tor car park. Photos include photos of Helman Tor and views from the top of the tor.
