The Exeter Canal runs parallel to the Exe river, from the Exe estuary
to Exeter. There is a footpath adjacent to the canal and it's a really
nice walk. There are several pubs along the route. Photos include
photos of the lower part of the Exeter Canal from Turf Lock to
Topsham, photos of the Turf Hotel, photos of the Exe Estuary and
Exminster Marshes. To visit the lower part of the canal take the
A379 from Exeter to Dawlish. At the Exminster roundabout, turn
left where signposted to the Exminster Marshes and follow this
lane to a small car park by the canal.
