Vixen Tor is an impressive rocky tor on the west of Dartmoor. Vixen Tor is within walled farm land and the land owner has prohibited access to the tor. However, Vixen Tor can still be viewed from surrounding open moor land. Vixen Tor is a 20-30 minute walk from the Barn Hill car park which is about 3 miles east of Tavistock on the B3357 road. At the car park walk south over Barn Hill and then over the Grimstone and Sortridge Leat, then continue east. There is also layby parking on the B3357.
