Tunhill Rocks is a small tor above Widecombe In The Moor on the east of Dartmoor. On the road up from Widecombe, the B3387, there is a small parking area at the Hemsworthy Gate junction and from here a short walk up to Top Tor and then a path to Pil Tor and a short walk from here to Tunhill Rocks, where there are fine views. There are a number of routes to Widecombe. From the Plymouth direction take the A38 east and at the Goodstone junction turn off where signposted to Newton Abbott (A383). On the slip road, turn left where signposted to Widecombe and Sigford. Continue on this road for several miles up onto Dartmoor, then turn right at the Cold East crossroads and continue on this road to the Hemsworthy Gate junction.
