19 photos of Sheeps Tor, Dartmoor

Sheeps Tor is a large tor overlooking Burrator Reservoir and the village of Sheepstor on Dartmoor. There are fine views from the top. Burrator is about 13 miles from Plymouth. Take the A386 to Yelverton and at Yelverton take the Princetown road and then turn off to Burrator at Dousland. There are several paths to the top of Sheeps Tor from Burrator. Alternatively follow the signs from Burrator to Sheepstor village and drive through the village and then take a left turning signposted to Nattor. At the end of this road there is a small car park. Park here and cross a ford and then follow a leat across access land to get access to the east slopes of Sheepstor. Note this route can be boggy at times. Photos include photos of Sheepstor from Nattor and photos at the top of the tor.
