Meldon Hill is a large hill above the village of Chagford on North Dartmoor. Most of Meldon Hill is on open access moorland and there are rocky outcrops at the summit, where there are fine views. Chagford is about 13 miles from Princetown. From Princetown take the B3212 signposted to Two Bridges. At Two Bridges turn right onto the B3357 and then left where signposted to Postbridge to continue on the B3212. Continue on the B3212 for 3-4 miles until a left turning signposted to Chagford. Continue on this road until a left turning signposted to Weddicott. Take this road and then take the next left and follow this lane until a layby. This layby is a short walking distance east of the summit. There are other routes to Meldon Hill.
