Cadover Bridge is a popular beauty spot on Dartmoor near Shaugh Prior. There is a road bridge over the Plym river and the riverside is a popular place for picnics. There is a large car park by the road. There are a number of routes to Cadover Bridge from the Plymouth area, including on the A386 from Plymouth. At Roborough on the A386 turn right where signposted to Shaugh Prior. Continue on this road though Bickleigh and after Bickleigh turn left where signposted to Shaugh Prior. Just after Shaugh Prior village turn left onto a lane and follow this lane to a junction and here turn left where signposted to Cadover Bridge. Photos include photos of Cadover Bridge and photos of the nearby Cadover Lakes which are used for fishing.
