10 photos of Bonehill Rocks, Dartmoor
Information image
Bonehill Rocks is a small outcrop of rocks on the east of Dartmoor. There is a small car park below the rocks and a short climb to the rocks with fine views, including looking down to Widecombe In The Moor. There are a number of routes to Bonehill Rocks, probably the easiest route is to turn off on the A38 several miles east of Ashburton where signposted to Newton Abbot. Instead of taking the road to Newton Abbot, turn off onto a minor road signposted to Widecombe and follow this road up onto Dartmoor. Where this road joins the B3387, turn left onto the B3387 and then take the next right where signposted to Hound Tor and Manaton. Then take the next left and Bonehill Rocks is a short distance on this road.
