Westcombe Beach is a shingle beach on a particularly scenic part of the South Devon coast. The beach is usually quiet as there is no parking or facilities. Westcombe Beach is a few miles west of Bigbury. The nearest parking is at the village of Ringmore. Ringmore is about 17 miles from Plymouth on the A379 and B3392. On the B3392 at St Ann's Chapel turn right where signposted to Ringmore. At Ringmore there is a footpath to Ayrmer Cove and from Ayrmer Cove, Westcombe Beach is about about 20 minutes walking west on the coast path. You can also walk from Bigbury but note that the coast path is very steep in places. Photos include photos of Westcombe Beach from the coast path and photos on the beach.
