Thurlestone Sand is a long sandy west facing beach in South Devon. There is a café and toilets at the southern part of the beach which is known as South Milton Sands. Thurlestone is about 20 miles from Plymouth. Take the A379 and B3197 into South Devon. On the B3197, there are a number of turnings to Thurlestone and South Milton Sands. There is a car park above the cliffs at Thurlestone and a National Trust car park at South Milton Sands. Photos include photos of Thurlestone from the coast path, photos taken on the beach and photos of South Milton Ley.
