Scabbacombe Sands is a small sandy beach on the South Devon coast a few miles west of Brixham. The beach is usually fairly quiet as parking is some distance away and there are no facilities. Brixham is about 5 miles from Paignton on the A3022. On the A3022 at the Kennels Road junction turn right onto the A379 and just after Hillhead turn left onto the B3205. Continue on this road for about half a mile, then after some cottages on the left, turn left onto a minor road (signposted to Coleton Fishacre). Continue on this lane, which becomes very narrow for about a mile until the Scabbacombe National Trust car park on the right. Park here and then take the path across the fields to Scabbacombe Beach.
