8 photos of Sand Acre Bay, South East Cornwall

Sand Acre Bay is a small bay which faces east onto the River Tamar. There is a beach which is shingle with some mud at low tide. Sand Acre Bay is part of Churchtown Farm, which is a nature reserve near Saltash in South East Cornwall. At Saltash take St Stephens Road from the roundabout at the top of Fore Street. Keep on St Stephens Road for a mile or two, then turn left onto Wearde Road. Follow Wearde Road and where the road turns left for the Saltash Community School, turn right here which continues on Wearde Road. Where the road bends left there are a few car parking spaces. Park here and follow the path over the railway bridge and then take the left path down to Sand Acre Bay. There are a number of paths through the nature reserve with fine views.
