North Sands is a popular sandy beach south of Salcombe in South Devon. There are fine views out onto the estuary. There is a small car park behind the beach and a picnic area and café. Salcombe is about 24 miles from Plymouth on the A379 and A381. At Salcombe, continue on the A381 around the outskirts of Salcombe and then turn right onto Sandhills Road signposted to North Sands and South Sands. This road zig zags down to Cliff Road and the sea front at North Sands.
