49 photos of Man Sands, South Devon

Man Sands is a wide sandy beach west of Brixham on the South Devon coast. The beach is usually fairly quiet as parking is some distance away and there are no facilities. Brixham is about 5 miles from Paignton on the A3022. On the A3022 at the Kennels Road junction turn right onto the A379 and just after Hillhead turn left onto the B3205. Continue on this road for about half a mile, then after some cottages, turn left onto a minor road (signposted to Coleton Fishacre). Continue on this lane, which becomes very narrow for about 2 miles until a small National Trust car park. From here walk the lane (known as Woodhuish Lane) to Man Sands Beach (takes about 30 minutes). Alternatively park at the Sharkham Point car park on the outskirts of Brixham and walk the coast path south (note this is very steep in places).
