Malcombe Sand is a long shingle and rocky beach a few miles east of Prawle Point on the South Devon coast. The west part of the beach is called Horseley Cove. The beach is usually quiet as there is no parking or facilities. Prawle Point is about 8 miles from Kingsbridge. Take the A379 east from Kingsbridge and at Frogmore turn right where signposted to East Prawle. Then follow signs to East Prawle. At East Prawle drive through the village past the green and follow the lane out of the village west. This lane leads to the Prawle Point car park. From there take the coast path east to Malcombe Sand.
