Maenporth is an east facing sandy cove a few miles south of Falmouth in South Cornwall. There is a nice sandy beach at Maenporth with a large expanse of sand at low tide. There is a café on the beach and the car park is also on the beach to allow easy access. Falmouth is about 10 miles from Truro on the A39. Approaching Falmouth on the A39, pass the reservoir and then at the next roundabout (the Hillhead Roundabout) turn right (signposted to Mawnan Smith). Continue on this road for about 3 miles following signs to Maenporth.
