Hive Beach is a popular pebble beach on the Dorset coast east of Bridport. There is a large National Trust car park above the beach and a café. The beach extends west to West Bay and east to Chesil Beach. Hive Beach is about 1 mile from the village of Burton Bradstock which is about 3 miles from Bridport. Bridport is about 40 miles from Exeter on the A30 and A35 and 16 miles from Dorchester on the A35. At Bridport take the B3157 which is the coast road to Weymouth. On the B3157 just after Burton Bradstock turn right where signposted to Hive Beach and follow this lane to the car park at Hive Beach.
