Gwithian Towans is a picturesque sandy beach in West Cornwall. There are fine views to Godrevy Point and Godrevy lighthouse and at low tide the beach stretches to Godrevy Point. There are extensive dunes behind the beach. Gwithian Towans is 3 miles from Hayle and about 20 miles from Truro. Take the A30 to Hayle and at Hayle take the B3301 to Gwithian. Shortly before Gwithian village turn left for Gwithian Towans. There are two small car parks where you can walk across the dunes to the cliffs and there is a larger car park by the beach. Photos include photos of Gwithian Towans beach looking down from the cliffs, photos taken on the beach and photos of the Red River as it flows onto the beach.
