Cogden Beach is a pebble beach on the Dorset coast east of Bridport. The beach is usually quiet as there are no facilities. The beach extends west to Hive Beach and West Bay and east to Chesil Beach. Cogden Beach is about 1 mile from the village of Burton Bradstock which is about 3 miles from Bridport. Bridport is about 40 miles from Exeter on the A30 and A35 and 16 miles from Dorchester on the A35. At Bridport take the B3157 which is the coast road to Weymouth. On the B3157 about a mile after Burton Bradstock the Cogden Beach car park is by the road. From the car park there is a sloping walk down to the beach, taking about 10 minutes to walk.
