Burton Freshwater is a long pebble and sand beach on the Dorset coast near the village of Burton Bradstock. Above the beach at Burton Freshwater there is a large holiday park but with no public parking. The beach can be accessed on the coast path from West Bay to the west or Hive Beach to the east. West Bay is about 2 miles south of Bridport. Bridport is about 40 miles from Exeter on the A30 and A35 and 16 miles from Dorchester on the A35. At Bridport follow signs for West Bay. There is plenty of parking in West Bay. To park at Hive Beach take the B3157 from Bridport and then shortly after Burton Bradstock there is a signposted turning to Hive Beach.
