Bedruthan Steps is a large sandy beach on the north Cornwall coast with high cliffs and spectacular rock stacks. Bedruthan Steps is about 8 miles from Newquay on the B3276. On the B3276, after Mawgan Porth look out for a left turning to the Bedruthan Steps car park (signposted to Carnewas). There is a café and toilets. There are very steep steps to the beach which are closed in winter. Photos include photos of Bedruthan Steps from the cliffs and photos on the beach. Note that the beach at Bedruthan Steps is not suitable for swimming due to strong currents. There is also a risk of falling rocks.
