28 photos of Muttons Downs, Bodmin Moor
Muttons Downs is a small area of open access moorland on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor, north of St Neot. There is a turning to St Neot on the A38, west of Liskeard and Dobwalls. At St Neot, turn right where signposted to St Cleer and take the next left signposted to Colliford Lake. Muttons Downs can be accessed from paths on this road. There is very limited parking on this road with a small layby which can be used for parking (but note that it is also used for storing gravel). Park in the layby and walk on the road north for about five minutes until on the right there is a signposted public footpath, which leads to moorland with Muttons Downs to the north. Note that there is no clear path to the top of Muttons Downs and it can be difficult to reach the top of the downs due to rocks and bracken.
